Yoda Guy Movie Exhibit
The Yoda Guy Movie Exhibit is located on the Front Street of Philipburg St. Maarten. Who would expect to find Darth Vader, Pinhead from HELLRAISER and Riddley Scott's ALIEN in St Maarten? But this unprecedented showcase has that and a whole lot more. There are displays that span six decades of movie making, relics from THE TERMINATOR, MEN IN BLACK and even THE MALTISE FALCAN. There's also an incredible collection of lifecasts, the actual faces of Hollywood stars, From Bogart & Brando, though Sean Connery & Jack Nicholson to Michael Jackson, Johnny Depp & Angelina Jolle.
Sint Maarten Museum
The St. Maarten National Heritage Foundation is a non- profit organization that aims to protect and promote the island’s rich heritage. It was established on October 4 1993 as the result of a merger between the St. Maarten National Park Foundation and the St Maarten Museum Foundation. The museum includes a gift shop where you can find authentic Caribbean items. Most of the products available are made by local artists. They also sell books, maps and other small publications about the islands heritage. All profits from the shop are used to support museum and heritage projects.

- The Soualiga Sky Explorer chairlifts, comprised of sixty-eight, four-passenger chairs, takes a tranquil ride up two lifts spanning a total of 2,997 ft. as the landscape unfolds below. A spectacular panoramic view on top of one of St. Maarten’s highest mountains await you.
- The Flying Dutchman is the main attraction and the steepest zip line in the world. Guests experience the thrill of a lifetime, harnessed in a chair and launched down the mountain on a flight line dropping 1050 feet in elevation over 2800 ft.

The remains of the first Dutch military base in the Caribbean offer stunning views across the ocean and over the town of Philipsburg behind it.
Enjoy stunning views over the historic center of Philipsburg and the warm waters of the Caribbean when standing on top of Fort Amsterdam. This site is not only famous for its historical ruins, but also for its pelicans, which come here annually to breed.
The first Dutch military base in the Caribbean dates back to 1631. The fort changed hands between the Dutch, British and French many times, before being decommissioned during the late 19th century.
Climb the hill that overlooks Philipsburg to reach the fort. From the center of town, a trail will take you along the coast, offering stunning ocean views. Cycle tours are also available from within the town and follow a paved path to the fort.
